The Allen County Public Library is updating its staff computers to a new operating system (OS) called Windows 7. This requires time and will affect all computers used by NEIRRS. We're moving right along and getting used to the new OS. It will take some time for us to be as fast on the new OS as we were on the old. Isn't that always the way it is?
So far it looks as if our updates are going smoothly. The control room computers will take a bit longer and we will likely have to plan a short period of "down time" while we are re-installing software we use to run the station. Not to worry, we'll be fully operational in a short time.
